Description
As a parent of a teen whom has faced challenges with depression I wanted to create this painting to show what I saw. When I looked at her, as her parent, I saw the love we have for her. I saw her inner beauty. I saw her magic. And it was hard for me to see her storm. It was hard for me to understand her struggle. But, her storm was scary, and it tried to steal her. I made the tears the same as the storm to illustrate that they almost made a hole in her. Parenting is hard. Parenting mental health is even harder. You are not alone.
