Description
This piece displays a girl being tormented by her own mind. She decides to take back control as depicted with the wire cutters. In black paint at the bottom, "Help Make Break Throughs" can be seen as an emphasis on how much of an impact is made when one takes control of their situation. In this piece, the birds and green represent mental illness encasing the girl and the wire a boundary of pain from years of torment. In the girl's face, her eyes have a clear vision of an escape from that torment;an ending to the pain. The wire cutters represent reaching out to medical professionals for help when one is at a loss otherwise.
